Is "Nano Banana" the same as Gemini?
"Nano Banana" is the community nickname for the image-generation model that powers Gemini's image features — so a "Gemini watermark" and a "Nano Banana watermark" are the same mark. We keep a separate page for each name since people search both; use whichever matches how you found your image.
Is this Gemini watermark remover really free?

Will removing the watermark lower the image quality?

Does this also remove Google's invisible SynthID watermark?
No. This tool only removes the small visible watermark icon overlaid on the image. SynthID is an invisible, cryptographic provenance signal embedded by Google and isn't something a visual editing tool can strip out.
